We just released an update to how Cleanetto handles tax rates. Some companies operate in locations where they have to collect sales tax. Some companies operate in various locations where each location has a different tax rate. Now you can configure your locations to have individual tax rates (previously, you could only have one tax rate for your Cleanetto account).
You can find the tax rate field when you create or edit a location:

So a potential client comes to your website and clicks on "get my rate" or "book now". They enter their address and... oh no! You don't service their area yet 😭
They obviously need cleaning and they know about you so they are a great prospect. How many times does this happen? How many times does this happen? Maybe you want to reach out to them and let them know if they get just one more friend to sign up then you can open up in their area.
Previously, and with many other online booking form, the process ended with "sorry, we don't service your area".
Now, when they enter an address outside your service area they will have the chance to be notified when you do!

When they click that "yes, please notify me", a new lead record will be created in Cleanetto (and you'll get a notification by email and in your activity feed). That lead record will be tagged with the postal code of their address.
So you can do two things now:
  1. You can see what postal codes you are getting demand from by filtering your client list by postal code.
  2. You can send this info to mailchimp so that when you are ready to open in that area you can just start a new campaign targeted to subscribers tagged with that postal code.
This is a smart way of growing your cleaning business; expanding into locations where you know there is demand and you already have potential clients who know about you.

If your visitor enters an address that is outside your service area they can chose to be notified when you do service their area with one click. You get a notification and can find that visitors info in your lead list, tagged with their postal code. You can then decide where to open next based on where your unfilled demand is coming from.

  • pre-filled fields
Pass any field through the URL to prefill the form for your clients. For example, if you have a lead collection form in your home page you can pass the name, phone and email fields on to the form to make checking out even faster and more convenient for the user.
As always, you can create different service types and have different prices for different frequencies.

  • When you get a new booking that includes "extras", Cleanetto will create a new task for those extras. For example, if someone selects "oven cleaning" as an extra, Cleanetto will add a task called "Oven cleaning" so your cleaner will see it in the Cleanetto Cleaner App as a task to perform in that job.

  • You can now add tasks when creating a booking. Just click the "Add Task" button and enter as many tasks as you want. The cleaner(s) assigned to the booking will see those tasks and be able to check them off when she's at the property.

  • Added the ability to archive properties, so if you have a client that has properties they don't live at or use anymore, you can archive them so they don't clutter your property list.
  • Miscellaneous booking form, timesheet report, feedback/rating/tip fixes and improvements.
  • Canceling a booking will now delete all future events that had been created as a result of that booking.
  • Added full address to Cleanetto Cleaner App job list and job profile screen.
We just released an improvement to the Cleanetto CRM: the ability to add multiple properties to one account.
If you have a client that has multiple properties, you can now add more than one property to their client record and still bill all the services to this one client.
Just head on to the client record and click on the "homes" tab and then the "+" icon on the right hand side:

This weeks fixes and improvements:
  • fixed a bug that was causing the "duration" field in the edit event dialogue to appear empty.
  • added tooltips to fields in the settings to make it easier to understand what each field is/does.
  • updated some of the activity feed icons to make it look better.
  • updated the default notification setting to "on" (so whenever a new client/cleaner is created they will get notifications UNLESS you turn it off)
